The Council is currently working on the next generation of Connecticut history on the Internet with the Encyclopedia of Connecticut History Online (ECHO) in collaboration with the Office of the State Historian, Connecticut History Online (CHO) and the Connecticut Council for Social Studies.

The Encyclopedia of Connecticut History will be an open online resource providing, preserving, and promoting the stories and traditions of Connecticut for its people. Primary and secondary sources will be presented with an easy-to-use website inviting exploration and discovery.
