Connecticut Experience
The Connecticut Experience video documentary series produces Emmy-winning programs about Connecticut's history and cultural heritage.
The series includes 19 installments covering a range of Connecticut topics:
- Histories of the state's most significant cultural communities, including Native Americans, African Americans and Puerto Ricans.
- Aspects of the state's unique identity, such as our ingrained belief in a suburban way of life.
- Important stories from Connecticut's past, such as our centuries-long connection to the sea, the home front during World War II and the history of Connecticut's Tobacco Valley.
