As a Connecticut-based organization, the Humanities Council is committed to increasing public involvement in our state's rich history and assisting the state's many museums, heritage organizations and historical societies to bring the important stories of our past to the public. We do this primarily through granting programs for heritage organizations to plan and create programs for the pubic, and for activities that support organizational health and growth.
